Hey women in the messy middle of it all… I get you.

I understand what it feels like to juggle responsibilities, expectations, work, caregiving, relationships, emotional overwhelm, physical clutter, mental clutter, and the constant pressure to somehow keep it all together while quietly wondering when exactly life started feeling so heavy.

Born in the Bronx and raised in Manhattan, I grew up as a competitive gymnast. Gymnastics taught me discipline, resilience, and determination, but it also introduced me to perfectionism and the feeling that my value was tied to performance, achievement, and getting everything “right.”

Like so many women, adulthood became a balancing act. I worked as a nanny and gymnastics coach before building a career in retail and merchandising. I got married, raised two daughters, built a career, managed a household, and spent years trying to convince myself that if I could just become more organized, more disciplined, or more productive, things would finally feel manageable.

But underneath all of that was overwhelm.

What I eventually realized, both in my own life and in the lives of the thousands of people I worked with over more than two decades in coaching, is that so many women are not failing.

They are overloaded.

And often, the physical clutter around us becomes deeply connected to the mental and emotional clutter we carry inside us.

The overflowing closets.
The piles of paper.
The junk drawers.
The overpacked calendars.
The unopened emails.
The unfinished projects.
The things we keep “just in case.”
The constant visual noise reminding us of everything we haven’t done yet.

It all takes up space. Not just in our homes, but in our minds, our energy, and our emotional well-being.

The clutter women carry is rarely just about stuff.

It’s the mental tabs always open in your brain.
The pressure to meet impossible expectations.

The guilt.

The perfectionism.

The unfinished to-do lists.

The emotional weight of trying to take care of everyone else while losing yourself somewhere in the process.

That realization became the foundation of my work.

Today, as a Certified Life Coach, creator of the Lighten UP! Method, and host of Lighten UP! The Art of Living Clutter Free podcast, I explore the connection between physical clutter, mental overload, emotional overwhelm, perfectionism, and the pressure so many women carry every day while helping women create more clarity, confidence, calm, and momentum in their lives.

My work is not about perfection or becoming a minimalist.

It is about helping women feel lighter, more capable, more supported, and more connected to themselves again.

Through coaching, workshops, speaking, and community, I help women take messy action, set ridiculously simple goals, and stop waiting for the “perfect” time to start making changes.

Because you do not have to overhaul your entire life to begin feeling better.

Sometimes you just need a little more space to breathe.
